    Hi viniciuspecoraro,

How did you rebook? The invigilator didn’t contact me, just over chat and was not helpful at all. Where are you based?

It didnt allow me to rebook. When was the rebook session? Did you do AAA?

Logged in at 7.45 am in Ireland, did all the checks & sent pics and sat at the desk for another hour, couldnt go to toilet or go over notes, just sat there on live waiting nerves all over the place, chatted to invilgator and asked what was the delay and told them I was stressed, I got the reply ‘have patience dear please’, eh like get the exam open & dont call me dear! Imagine a professional body that harps on about professionism, integrity & respect & they call me dear! I was raging . Finally got in on it, I asked 6 times to take a bathroom break and no one replied to my chat, I had 90 minutes left of the exam when I first asked, I dont think anyone was watching me, I asked out loud could I take a break, I waved at the screen and still nothing, i was in serious pain as a crohn’s patient, I was nearly crying with the pain but couldnt leave my desk for fear of it been cancelled, what a joke ACCA are, is it even worth doing my final exam in June!

Hi Anisa. I am based in Ireland. I was talking about AA, not AAA. My rebook sessions is scheduled for next Monday.

Hi Louise, I am really sorry about your experience. It has been terrible for everyone of us, I guess. If it’s only missing one for you, don’t give up! You are almost there!

I am not sure what you mean, but I was supposed to sit for AA. I tried to follow the steps they’ve recommended at their troubleshoot guide, but it was impossible to access any of the pages and not even contact them through the “contact us” page!!

Totally agree… I don’t know why is it so hard to send a mail about technical problems like this. Of course they are unreachable via phone.

exactly. Still hope that ACCA will pick up the issue and will deal with it diferently.

I had the same problem yesterday for my AAA exam, it got rescheduled for 6.15 this morning I was logged onto the portal sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and the invigilator said they couldn’t see my webcam (which was 100% on i could see myself on the portal & my webcam light was on) they then kicked me out of my exam saying i couldn’t do it today. Have spoken to ACCA who ‘might contact me’ for it to get rescheduled again. Anyone else had their exam cancelled again today?

I had the same – I had 45 mins left on the timer and needed the loo. I tried to chat but no response, I started talking out loud to try and get attention and was waving my arms around. No answer from anyone and no contact. I assume we aren’t being watched as closely as we should be

Got an email yesterday stating that I could sit AAA this morning but never got allocated a time. Tryed booking it myself through the portal but it wouldn’t let me. Tried contacting ACCA directly but it’s impossible. An absolute shambles

I got an email yesterday evening saying that I would be allocated a time this morning to take AAA but never got an email with a time and when I tried to book through the portal it said that I couldn’t book a time as there has to be 24 hours between booking and taking an exam even though there was an available slot. A shambles.

When you tried rebooking the exam, did you get a refund for the previous exam or did you have to pay for it once again?

I just had the same problem with SBL in Ireland. My exam was 10am. At 10.15 I got an IM from the Proctor saying that they could not see my web cam feed although I could see on my on screen. After a little while they told me that they were trying to re-launch my exam, As I was telling them that this was distracting and I needed to get on with my exam. Then the session just froze up I was unable to close any of the exhibits or type on my script anymore I waited for an hour and a half, and then in the end I had to terminate the session myself I have just lost connectivity with it the system wasn’t responding to the chat function I and I was no longer able to type on the screen. I’ve just Spent another 30 minutes on the phone to the ACCA. They said they will see what they can do but it’s looking likely I will have to forfeit and sit again in March. Very frustrating as I am on my last two papers SBL and advanced tax

Shane, I see you were due to sit AAA in Ireland which was the same as myself. Have you heard any further or are we just expected to sit the exam in March? I selected the withdrawal option and they have credited my account. It’s completely unacceptable to me having used up my own leave and exam leave, not to mention the learning provider I used to sit the exam in December not 3 months later! To top it off the exam sounds as if it was quite favourable from what I can see!

I managed to sit my SBL remote exam today, although the whole thing just hung with 15 minutes left to go and wouldn’t let me do anything further. Thankfully I’m pretty sure I had already done enough to pass, but they really need to get a handle on all these issues

Hi guys, I’m just wondering if the issue is still there today? I have a remote exam booked for the 10th and really worried it won’t go ahead. We don’t need the extra stress on the top of the exam, very bad form from ACCA.

@kbourne – I suggest you report also your technical issues in writing through myACCA or via https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us

I had SBL today and APM tomo. Thankfully today it worked. I will say wasn’t the best but it could be worse as others couldn’t even sit their exam. I logged in a hour and half early to be safe.

I had the same problem, at the last 13 minutes of my exam the screen froze and I could not do anything.
Already in the last 50 min the software was behaving a bit weir eg I could not insert a table. Oh well..

I had the 15 minute timer issue too, as soon as it popped up I couldn’t access anything and then by the time it got sorted time was pretty much up, I know its only 15 mins but 15 mins in SBL is 8% of the marks writing time so its the difference between passing and failing – not really happy with that to be honest

Actually yeah now others mention it I couldn’t use the slides properly either for the last about 45 mins – not able to bullet point and highlight as headers – I was wondering what was going on
