April 5, 2024 at 4:27 pm #703696Hi,
I was looking for suggestions on how to best plan the exam answers. When I look at ACCA website, unless I didn’t find it, I only find reference to the old format re. 4 hours with 60 minutes of planning and 180 minutes for answering.
How should this approach be adjusted to the new format?
Thank you in advance and kind regards
August 27, 2020 at 9:52 pm #582392I have watched them again and it’s really clear by the way you explain them. Anyhow I still have a doubt on project duration – why don’t we consider the investment part? I guess I get confused because sometime project duration is named as average time to recover the investment but actually it’s just average time to get the cash inflows (and hence give a measure of exposure to risk), right? I shouldn’t really look at the investment part, right?
Then modified project duration just gives a sensitivity analysis of exposure to discount rate chosen, right?
thank you very much in advance and also for your lectures, they are really great.
OscarApril 13, 2020 at 9:41 am #567813Passed, 73%. Did all lectures with OT, BBP revision kit and used also learsignal for certain topics/guided answers/UK variant. Thank you !!!
March 5, 2020 at 3:18 pm #564405First attempt. Its not difficult per se. The issue is the timing. There is so much content to cover and write about that there is very very limited amount of time to think. The questions I know I answered wrong is clearly because I had to rush. First time in all ACCA papers I struggle with timing. Let’s see !

January 20, 2020 at 9:03 am #559141Stephen, thank you. Would that be enough or some exercises are needed (which I understand are in the supplement)?
Thank you and KR, O.
