Get Kaplan exam kit and finish all the questions between now and your next paper……take your time to read and digest the examiners comments in the book and I bet you are on your way to qualification….

    Glory be to GOD.
Passed AAA 60% at the fourth attempt.
    Finally an affiliate.
    God is great.

For those who didn’t make it, don’t give up
For anyone writing ACCA, I have a golden advice ensure you have at least one month for revision before exams.Cover the syllabus as fast as you can and ensure the last one month is for revision-answering questions and reading examiners comments on each question.

In Q1, notes from the meeting said 30 centres where the management accounts said 20. Anybody else notice this?

I mentioned it as a point

I wrote P6&7 in Sept and passed only P6
I found Kaplan a very good resource..However,knowledge is not enough
I went through all the highlighted questions in the revision kit noting my weak areas and revising…..bottom line you need to do loads of revision to pass P6

Just calculated it again, it the tax manager said £3,342 if the full amount was invested by the spouse as there was no SNRB available as she was an additional rate payer but DNRB is always available so Additional rate tax on interest was £675 and on dividend £2667. If split £150,000 to husband and £300,000 to wife, the husband pays no tax as SNRB and DNRB will cover both investments as he was basic rate payer. Total tax paid by wife was £1,593 so tax saved by splitting was £1,749.

    Great guy!

It was an ok exam…..the written parts were cheaper than expected.Unfortunately, I spent too much time on the tricky Objs.
I bet it is better to start with the written questions.
