Wow well done! How did you prepare for the pass a d which books did you use? I am writing PM in June 2025

This is why I decided to attempt section c first to avoid time pressure and stress of long question. There are a lot of easy marks in section C. Section A and B is really like playing lotto, your answers have to 100% accurate otherwise you lose the mark.

Yeah I had that variance sectionb question think I guessed the first 2 questions (think it was contribution volume planning and
operational variance) afterr several attempts to work it out.

Also got University financial performance question, it really helped me gain marks

I also had that section c question about finding the constraints, it was the only question I barely attempted

Also failed by 48 in June now in September I got 42 ..what on Earth?

Shoem how did you pass with 87? Was this your first attempt? What books did you use and which tuition provider? How many months did it take you to study fm and do you have a full time job?

Rate of tax that would bring it to zero? I think you then use the IRR(internal rate of return) method?

I wish I also had lease vs buy. EAC (equivalent annual cost)= npv÷annuity factor

I was so happy to see the investment appraisal question in sectionC?????! Yey!! I hope it helps me score above that 50 pass mark. The capm question I wrote only a few things, hope it goes well. SectionsA and B had a mix of difficult and okayish questions, the theory question in sections and B were tricky, some of the calculation questions were fine and others were long so I just guessed answers due to time.

Hey floralin, what changes did you make second time to pass? How long did you take to cover everything ?

Failed with 46% first attempt, won’t study 2 exams in 1month again.

Failed by 48% first attempt, won’t attempt studying 2 exams in a month for sure!

I watched the open tuition lectures and studied the open tuition notes. I studied a minimum of 2 chapters daily and completed all the revision kit questions for the 2 chapters that day. After I completed the whole syllabus i spent the next
few days before the exam revising past exams and did the CBE mock exam under exam conditions.

I would like to express my gratitude to the open tuition team – may Gpd bless you. I cleared F4(English varaiant) CBE with 70%. I used the open tuition lectures and notes. Studied for only 3weeks (not advisable though, im studying full time at home -studied everyday).
