Dear tutor,
First of all thank you so much for making these excellent study materials available to all students for free. I am a mother of two, and OT is the best tutor for ACCA that I have ever had.
Unfortunately I failed P2 in June so, here I am reviewing for SBR exam due in December.
I compared the notes that I have (P2 Notes) against the ones from OT SBR notes and the only differences are in Chps 19,and 20.
Also I noted that ch6 (complex group structures) fromP2 is no longer there as it is not examinable under SBR’s syllabus.I was planning on only listening to the lectures from those two chapters (chp19 and 20).
As I am on my second sitting to the exam I wasn’t planning on listening to all the lectures again.
However, I was wondering if is there are any update on the lectures regarding SBR from other chapters. Also, topics such us: Underlying profit EBIT, EBITDA, and free cash flows have been added. Are there lectures available regarding these topics?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Isabel

Thanks for the lovely comments above and well done for being so successful in your exams to this point, especially looking after two children too. I’ve two of my own and understand how challenging, yet fun it is.
You’re right in that there aren’t any huge changes with regards to the syllabus, the changes are more related to the structure of the exam. To find out more about the exam then have a listen to the introduction video.
The changes in the syllabus since you last sit will mainly involve the new leases and revenue standards, so definitely watch those videos. Unfortunately I’ve not had chance to update much else so the other smaller, new aspects will have to be taken from the study text of your chosen tuition provider.
You will need to purchase a new revision kit too in order to get familiar with the new style exam questions, particularly with regards to how the groups aspect is examined.
If you’ve any questions then please just get in touch.
Thanks
