arslan and mpi9: Thanks for the comments (and do please keep telling other people about OpenTuition!) 🙂
June 12, 2015 at 6:00 pm #256650When do we get answers for multiple choice does anyone know?
June 12, 2015 at 6:02 pm #256651Overall I found the Section B to be ok – some silly mistakes & didn’t have time to really think my answer to the ‘theory’ sections.. But the MCQs were definitely trhe hardest – so tricky.. Some ‘traps’ I managed to find after reading them 4-5 times.. some in which I really got stuck between 2 options (esp questions about “which statements are correct?”).. If I dob’t make it this time, it will be bcz of the MCQs..
June 13, 2015 at 8:37 am #256689Martildah: If you read earlier comments you will know that I cannot prepare suggested answers until I see the questions! If and when the ACCA publish the questions, then I will upload suggested answers.

fbawany: the 40 marks mcq which is what I want to know about.
June 17, 2015 at 1:28 pm #257457Think they are being done right now. F5 and F7 are up and F9 Section B has vanished so fingers crossed.
June 17, 2015 at 6:04 pm #257504Apparently the F9 MCQ’s will be uploaded next week. However, since the ACCA seem to keep changing their minds it seems it might be this week, next week, or never 🙂
We will have to just keep checking for them 🙂
June 18, 2015 at 12:23 am #257547I wonder why they are doing that?
June 18, 2015 at 10:47 am #257659They are available now.

Normal
June 18, 2015 at 11:26 am #257669Wow, just went through them trying to remember what I put and they really were as horrible as I thought – was hoping that I had exaggerated it in my mind but no.
13 of them were discursive! And most of them were nasty. That really was nothing like I expected from Section A.
June 18, 2015 at 12:13 pm #257687OMG F9 was next to f5
but I can’t remember my answers 🙁June 18, 2015 at 1:03 pm #257701@jenny3549 said:

but section B is poor 🙁Don’t panic yet. You have twenty per cent for A so you only need half the available marks for B – are you sure you lost 30 marks for that section?
June 18, 2015 at 1:29 pm #257717100 % sure about 16 marks from B and another 14 is up to the marker
he/she can give me or not .June 18, 2015 at 1:30 pm #257718can someone post link to mcq questions please 🙂
June 18, 2015 at 2:48 pm #257736The f9 question paper : https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/f9/exampapers/F9-2015-jun-q.pdf

Looks like I will get 22 marks from section A, keeping my fingers crossed for at least 28/60 marks from section B.
June 18, 2015 at 4:03 pm #257752can any one suggest me answer for MCQ 3
as per the professor JOHN the answer is D, but as per my calculation answer is B
option B is as follows. Mean growth in dividends per share over the period is 4%
and my calculation is as follows. (15/13)^(1/3)-1= 4.88%can any one suggest me the right answer
June 18, 2015 at 5:53 pm #257785But B says that the growth is 4%. You are right in saying it is 4.88%.
4% does not equal 4.88% and so the answer cannot be B !!The growth in earnings per share is (35.7/30.0)^(1/3) = 5.97%
That is close enough to 6% for D to be the correct answer.June 18, 2015 at 5:58 pm #257790Good day Mr Moffat
Thank you very much for uploading suggested answers. Could you please tell me- is there a chance that your mcq answers, maybe some of them, can be INCORRECT? I compared with my answers and got only 8 right:( if your ones at least a couple are incorrect then I can hope that I will pass. I took this exam 3rd time:(
June 18, 2015 at 6:37 pm #257804how can you guys even remember what choices you selected ? i can only remember only few of them :S
