    Hi,

You don’t need to solve it using a T-account. If the associate has paid a dividend of $8m then we will have received our share of it at 25%, being the $2m.

The T-account would be used to calculate how much was paid to acquire the associate as pat of investing activities.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I won’t be able to provide any feedback, I can only answer any areas where you are unsure of the answers.

    Thanks
