What is the difference between an audit manager, audit senior and an engagement partner and who has a higher position/or who do they report to?

The hierarchy of reporting responsibilities is generally:
Partner (at the top)
Manager
Senior
Junior/traineeNot all engagement teams will have individuals at all these levels. For example, for a small audit client, an audit senior may do all the work and report directly to the partner.
