2nd queation NPV : It was ok but had technical issues which delayed the exam.
3rd question: Acqusition with 3 methods. Cash offer, share for share and mix offer (cash + share). I somehow did it suggested to go for share for share
In my 1st attwmpt i got 47 but that time the exam was so much easier. This time I don’t think I will get near 40 marks!! ?
April 15, 2024 at 12:10 am #703943Passed AAA in my 3rd attempt with 52 marks. I am so much happy. Thank you almighty god. Now I have only 1 paper left
April 22, 2023 at 3:47 pm #683359I passed SBR with 55 marks in March with only 1 week of study. So, I don’t see any reason why not to sit for june exam.
My advice study and go for it. If you fail, you can sit again and pass.
April 17, 2023 at 5:57 am #682866Passed with 55 mark. I prepared for only 1 week and did not expect I will pass. Thanks to OT, F7 knowledge and 10 years of accounting experience. Thanks to Almighty Allah
October 17, 2022 at 9:40 pm #669115Hi, passed on my 3rd attempt. IMO you have to understand what examiners are looking to hear from you, instead of you write based on your thoughts.
Firstly, audit risk questions are easy but most of the students explain business risk instead of audit risk. The answer should be specific to the risk of material misstatement in the financial statement .
Secondly some theory questions are repetetive i advice to memorize them for route learning .
Thirdly, substantive procedure should be linked with assertions .
Finally, use appropriate vocabulary . Example, instead of using “check documents ” , use ” review the document ” , do the reconcition , say ” perform reconciliation” .
Good luck
September 5, 2022 at 7:50 pm #665295This is my 3rd attempt and every time I found it easy but FAILED!
This time the multiple choice questions were difficult. There were many confusing tricky questions.
Theoretical questions were on the easier side but from my experience I realized that getting mark is difficult.
I had questions related to Audit risk components, Identify 8 audit risk, 3 test of control where the control is affective. 5 deficiency where the control is weak. 5 marks on audit opinion where the finance director rejected to amend the FS. Rest of them are usual substantive procedures.
August 30, 2022 at 11:26 pm #664714Questions related to Control Deficiency, test of control and recommendation are coming most of the time. About 90% of the time.
August 3, 2022 at 4:30 pm #662389I am an accountant with more than 8 years of experience and have good knowledge about audit procedure. I have been dealing with Deloitte for our year end audit.
I found the question of this exam easy and answered all the questions. However, I failed with only 42%.
It is clear that the examiners don’t give a damn about your accounting knowledge , rather they are expecting you to sound like a nerd auditor
January 17, 2022 at 6:40 pm #646788Don’t know why students who failed do not share their story here.
I am working as an accountant for more than 7 years, studied for 2 days and gave the exam. Surprisingly, I found the exam easy as most of the things are familiar to me. Attempted all the questions and was pretty confident to pass.
Here comes the surprise! I failed with only 40 marks 🙁
October 18, 2021 at 12:21 am #638005Passed with 54% in my 2nd attempt. Thanks to opentution and kaplan kit. I was releived as I really do not want to study UK tax once again ahaha
September 7, 2021 at 10:04 pm #634810Section A had many Questions related to tax due date and related to Tax administration which was difficult for me. Section B had 3 sections related to VAT, IHT & Capital Gain tax. They were easier compare to section A. Section C was fair. There was questions related income tax, recalculation of Corporation tax with some adjustment and some questions related to IHT and capital gain tax.
September 7, 2021 at 5:57 pm #634784Section A just killed me. Lots of Questions regarding due dates. Section B and Section C was ok. Will be glad if I get 50 as I don’t wanna be stuck with a subject which is not relevant to me.
October 14, 2019 at 6:04 am #549307Everybody is sharing their pass score , so I am sharing my fail score. I ended with only 40 marks!! I expected more but this mark really disappoints me as I think I have to do a lot more studies to pass in December. I don’t the CBE as they make the part A look very difficult.
October 15, 2018 at 12:26 am #478145Alhamdulillah ! Passed with 57 marks, 2nd time. Last exam I failed with 49 . It was very frustrating as It is very difficult to study with a full time job. I was thinking I should quit if I fail this time. Many thanks to opentution

June 9, 2018 at 12:06 am #457999I sat for the paper based exam .
For section C I got TED EV which was difficult and balanced scorecard which consumed too much time.
I found Section A and B as incredibly hard.
June 5, 2018 at 11:32 pm #456702In the books normally they are dividing return per factory hour / cost per factory hour
This takes little more effort but result is the same
May 31, 2018 at 11:33 pm #455177Interesting .
