    One more thing if the question says that in 1st year working capital is 100 and it will be increasing as per the inflation rate

    Then as welll we will do the same working?

    That is first finding the working capital needed after inflation for each year

    Then doing the working that is 100 invested in 1st year inflation rate is let’s say 10% so next year we require 110 I will deduct 10 only as working capital invested in year 2

    So if I just stick to this method of finding total required and subtracting already invested . Result to add in that year it will be correct?

    But is’nt the time “t” is the time of project left after the investment is sold . If they purchase In the start of 4 year (that is end of 3 year ) remaining year is 2? Please correct my concept for t in bsop

    and also in consolidated comprehensive income why we not added like(1000*6/12) as company was acquired on 1 oct x3 and year end is march x4
    in answer full1000 was added

    Sir sorry to interrupt in this but can you explain me why will it be” inefficient” in the sarah’s question if she has studied the published information in the last reply . ?studying past information will mean market is weak form right ?
    whats then the difference between the very first question and this sarah question with studying published information?

    Sir I watched your lecture I am clear about that is FRA is 10 % and actual rate is 8 % we will have to pay or if the actual rate was 12 % we will recieve
    But I not clear for the deposit purpose .. if the actual deposits rate is greater than FRA than we will pay …am I right ?
    I am just getting confused with this

    Sir for second question you said they are making saving of 20 by converting M
    Why no then in above question we can also say that they are making saving of 24/kg of 200kg in inventory but to make that saving they have to spend 4 /kg
    I don’t think there is much difference in both the question but they way solving it is different
    In above you added the cost in opportunity cost
    In second you said they are making saving
    Then why not solve 1st question with same method ?

    But sir this is the only question I’ve seen RI calculation like this .. in all the other question so far I have calculated operating profit or PRE TAX profit — notional interest
    Which one is correct to follow should I use this controllable profit for RI calculation in all the questions of RI ???
    at first I calculated like net profit 1200+ Tax 90 = 1290

    I am confused noww

    But in Fixed oh expenditure variance formula is( budgeted expenditure – actual expenditure)

    Thats why used this formula .
