Hello sir ! I will be giving F5 in September attempt it will be my first skill level paper I am bit nervous about the spreadsheet question Section C . I know how to solve question but how exactly should we present the solution ?? Eg if it’s mix variance …. should I just solve in one cell and bring the answer directly or I have to write the whole formula and solve it . I am very confused and tensed for this . Can you please help
how to built confidence to solve these question and gain good marks
If you are using formula within the spreadsheet then you do not need to type out the formula separately – the marker is able to see the formula used.
There is a lot of information about the computer based exams on the ACCA website together with a practice area to use. The last chapter of our free lecture notes explains this and gives links to several of the ACCA resources.
Also there is a lecture linked from ‘Revision Lectures’ on our main Paper FM page (it is not called F5 any more) working through a CBE question and showing how to use the spreadsheet.
i want to learn excel
You can get plenty of practice on the ACCA website.
Have you read the last chapter of our free lecture notes, and followed the links to all of the ACCA resources for the spreadsheet that is provided?
