Hello All,
I am ACCA Qualified since 2018 working in Cameroon (Central Africa) in the banking industry as Risk Manager since 2012.
Before that I have around 5 years experience in Accounting Firms (Deloitte and E&Y) as auditor.
I would like to register in the local association of accountants and they are requiring me to produce the ACCA practising certificate.
I would like an advice if with my current profile I could obtain that practising certificate because through my review of ACCA website, it seems that a 2 years post qualification training in an audit practise is mandatory.
What could I do with my current profile to obtain that practising certificate?
Thanks in advance.October 15, 2018 at 12:41 am #478156Passed with 55.
It was my last exam and passed after 4 attempts. 39,43,49,55.

April 20, 2016 at 6:09 am #311805What do you think of having marked mock exams for p5. This will be my third attempt and have self studied for the previous. Failed 33 and 34, real issue of not having feedback of what went wrong last time.

34 March 16 after hard work!
I don’t think I am done for this paper.
I will switch to p4 in Sept16 hoping it will be better.
Congrats to the successful ones!August 1, 2015 at 5:45 am #263931Finally passed with 50 after 4 attempts and covered only 80 marks. My advice to pass is practice maximum questions once you have got a general knowledge of the syllabus. Good luck for those who will resit.
October 13, 2014 at 3:34 pm #204301I think ACCA wants to focus on P-level exams!
– The time limitation to be qualified will be 7 years from the first pass in P-level.
– F-level will certainly be done through CBE in a near future. Being just a way of filtering students you can attempt P-level exams.
– There will be 4 exams sessions in a year. Increasing the chance to access P-level and qualify. My opinion is that those changes will be positive if the quality of P-level exams is maintained.

August 8, 2014 at 10:07 am #188332Congratulation to those who passed.
August 8, 2014 at 8:58 am #18827739, this was my first attemp.
I am really interested by the advices on how overcome the P-level papers.
I passed all the F-level papers (F1 to F9) on first attemp except F4 that passed the 2nd time.
Since I am on P-level, I only passed P1 (52) on 2nd time. My scores for the others are P2(33); P3 (47, 46, 29); P7(39).
May be it is because english is not my 1st language. I am really thinking now to take only one paper per sitting to really concentrate. For sure in Dec 2014, I will only chose P2.Do not hesitate to advise.
May 30, 2014 at 8:49 am #171834By some researchs I found that answer:
Risk of material mistatement = Financial statement risk = IR + CR
Audit Risk = IR + CR + DR
Business risk is related to general situations that may treathen the future success of the company. It is not related to accounts and Financial statements.
Control Risk is everything that the company does not do correctly to have the accounts right.
August 21, 2013 at 4:06 pm #138833Is it necessary to do CFA if you are ACCA with P4 as option?
What about university degree in Msc in Finance, Msc Quantitative finance or MBA?
I have a master degree in industrial engineering however I have started work for a practice and decided to do ACCA qualification. I have struggled to pass F1-F9 and now I am at the Professional level of the qualification (I hope I will pass them all one day), I am wondering now if I have to think about an university degree since for most finance jobs an university degree at a master level is often required.August 8, 2013 at 6:38 am #136008P1 44 & P3 2nd attempt 46 (1st attempt was 47).
i really don’t understand, I have covered the essential syllabus and was really confortable with the questions.
i have followed the tips (stick to the requirements, present the theory and give examples related to the case study). I have tried to make sufficient number of points.
Is it my english which is not enough? I am really disappointed.
Please help.February 8, 2013 at 5:26 am #115418Failed P3 47 could anyone advise me on how to have a pass in June 2013?
