What are the business models and accountancy model you can use to analyse poor ethical practice?
@trephena @gillianM Hi, I’m planning to write on Topic 3 which is to “Analyse and evaluate the impact on the financial performance of an organisation
of a recent change imposed by the regulatory environment.” What would be the two best business models to use in the RAP in addition to the ratio analysis?Well that’s an official wrap for me. In one of the previous attempts the global prize for SBL went for 96 nevertheless you should really pat yourself on the back that’s one hell of a score so you might be in for it this time considering it was abit harder this session. Regardless of you getting global prize or not I’m sure you’ve done yourself super proud. Keep up the good work. Surely you will win the national prize keep us updated. If you won the global prize you’ll get a mail from ACCA within the day or maybe tomorrow if you won the national prize it will take upto a week

Finally an affiliate and I usually don’t comment on results day posts as it’s always me focusing on the next paper but this time it’s different. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all OT lecturers I’ve been following the lecturers since knowledge level and I still remember my first comment after sitting for my first session CBE which was PM.Thank you for having this amazing platform where all the students can share their thrills, spills and rant about the hardship they face while preparing for the exam. A very big thank you to all the students in this platform who have support me as well as everyone else involved.
To all the students who couldn’t get through or still in the journey. Trust me when I say this, enjoy the process that’s when you’ll enjoy the journey and good things start to happen. Perseverance and discipline can take you a long way. So be resilient and give it your best always. You can only control your effort, the result is not in your hand.

SBR June 2021 was the hardest paper ever upto date since SBR inception. I doubt nothing will beat that pass rate of SBR which was at 44%
Ah right in that case even if we explain two relevant limitations it’ll be enough.
Also another question for topic 5 what are the “Accounting models” referred in the information pack? Is it the ratios analysis that is considered as an Accounting model or is there any other Accounting models for topic 5
Congratulations to all those who have passed, would like to know how many students received A grades while doing topic 5
Also should the YOY performance be increasing for all three years because the company I have in mind has seen a drop in profitability ratios in the 2nd year before picking up massively in the 3rd year. Year one was a moderate one the increase is due to covid impact. Therefore would it be better to go with another company or is this good cause only 1 year out of the 3 has seen an exceptional performance

Just a small question, for topic 5 it says that the company performing well shouldn’t be purely due to covid but most companies that have performed well during the past 3 years have been as a direct or indirect result of Covid. So in that case how do we decide on the company?
You can mentioned CEO Yexmarine and External consultant instead of mentioning their names right? Instead of the Consultant firm name?
Even if you didn’t write under separate headings if you’ve got the points you’ll get marks I think. But that Q2 was a real struggle for me. I just moved from it when the time was up I couldn’t afford to spend more time on it. Thankfully gave me time to do Q5 which was about E marketing which was relatively easier cause it was just about linking two exhibits like issues Yexmarine had and the services offered by seeyatch that could help Yexmarine to overcome those
For the Q2 I just took points from the exhibits which related to the concerns of the employees and like lack of communication and mentioned that during the period of change it is important to have good communication as well as boost staff morale. Didn’t know much to write
Q2b I spoke about the employee concerns such as not paying overtime and addressed them saying that these concerns will be addressed and therefore adequate overtime payments will be made for approved OT and such..
What was the recommendation you guys gave for Q3 when selecting between the two projects dinghies and the luxury yatchs?

A) Change management Q how to manage the survey issues or something for each stage of change( I was stumped in this question)B) how to address the concerns of the employees

What are the benefits the company will get from acquiring the services of a marketing agency seeyatch coIt was quite a tough paper, mentally and physically draining because of the long hours. I didnt think I’ll feel it cause it’s just 45mins longer than the other papers but little did I know those 45 mins felt like I played a very demanding first half of a champions league final. Wow!?
Anyone else got this and how did you approach to answer these questions?

Hi,
I’m planning in submitting my research report in the May session and selected topic 5. I want to know when selecting a company would it be beneficial to select a listed entity in the UK or can I choose a listed entity in a country like Sri Lanka for the project? Would it be a case where the marker would be more comfortable to assessing a company from the UK or a more famous company like Amazon than from another company

@ryanwilkes1985 I remember seeing you from the countdown forum where you were saying you didn’t receive the mail from ACCA. Was it true? Was there a mail mishap or did they actually accidentally release the results early?
