It was my 4th attempt, the last two being marginal fails (47% and 49%) which was super frustrating and tbh I don’t think I even revised as much this time as I was quite upset during my revision? but I finally passed with 54%? To those who didn’t, don’t give up! Even though a fail feels very discouraging, especially if it’s not your first, it is still experience and you will get better at tackling questions. Maybe change your approach or be more strict with timing when doing questions, but keep going, you will clear a pass! Opentuition was great help as always, thanks a bunch to Mr. Moffat and the team for providing us with this wonderful free portal! I also watched Andrew Mower’s youtube videos, his video on interest swaps makes it so simple, and I ended up getting Acowtancy revision course for the first time, which was helpful with some topics but with some was more confusing as it was a different approach to what I was used to. I also believe it’s vital to actually understand what examiner is asking of you, so I made sure I read requirements first a couple of times before reading through scenarios. Doing debrief mock under timed conditions was also of great help. I think I only did debrief and skipped mocks as exam practice for March resit. Congratulations to everyone who passed, especially if it was your last exam, good luck to those who are planning to do a resit, you’ve got this! Three exams to go now?

Failed 3rd time, 49%..Previous attempts 33%, then 46%. Feel gutted as thought I’d passed this time and thought the exam was fairly straightforward. Another frustrating thing is that for professional level they don’t provide you with feedback so I don’t know what my weakest area is as the syllabus is not very hard, just intense. Don’t know if I should switch module as I still need to so SBL and SBR and have been studying for SBL now, hoping to sit it in March? But congrats to everyone who passed, means there is hope?

Don’t give up, keep thinking about the end goal and why you are doing this! I know it’s really frustrating, I failed PM twice with similar results like you and passed 3rd time 65% even though I thought I’d failed. Failed my FM first attempt 47% this time around, June re-sit, here I come. I prefer to use the combination of Acca study hub, Open Tuition resources and bpp practice kit. Fingers crossed next time it will be a pass:)

Failed 2nd attempt 45%, first was 48%.. a bit sad but second time my revision wasn’t as thorough as it should have been. Will try again in December, a bit worried as twice now Section C questions were nothing like in official revision kit…Congrats to everyone who passed! The ones who failed, we can only keep trying guys, will definitely succeed in the end:)

I thought I’d found a lot of the questions harder than my bpp test kit and exam practice platform. I also got stuck on Section C 10 mark question about brakes and gears. I wasn’t 100% sure what the question was asking so was a bit challenging to answer lol..Looks like I am not alone in all this, not sure if that makes me feel better or worse:D

Fail..48%, wouldn’t be so upsetting if it was like 40% fail lol.. gutted as not sure which area of the syllabus let me down the most.Oh well, planning the re-sit now.
