hi gerald. i only used open tuition notes and videos as well as Kaplan question bank.
i studied strategically, there’s always corporation and income tax in part C, so focus on that first , work questions till you’re getting at least 9/15 even with the dumbest mistake.
then you can focus on the rest of the topic when you’re at good level on the above.
i only had about 6 weeks to study.. so you can defos part with the time we have now.
practice , practice, practice and if you’re christian, pray! you need the grace of God
April 13, 2020 at 6:33 am #567711passed first time – 63% i was expecting 53% tbh . started studying mid feb with working full time. i can only thank God.
January 26, 2020 at 9:29 pm #559955im also hoping to do f6 and f7 together but i think ill just do f6, alone
January 16, 2020 at 10:15 pm #558894the capital allowance is equal to the net cost of the asset, i believe youre maximising capital allowances for that specific asset.
if the asset was in the main pool and i deduct its proceed from the main pool, and then apply 18% wdv to the balance. the capital allowance for that asset is not maximised, i.e the capital allowance will be lower than when i calculate its capital allowance separately.
i hope it make sense . study example 3 on the open tuition notes, it will make sense

January 13, 2020 at 2:28 pm #558410Thank you, which variant did you take please? UK ?
January 13, 2020 at 2:27 pm #558409400 hours ? do you work full time ?
i think 7 weeks is enough, focus and commitment. 4 hours each during the week and 8 hours weekends.. finish content in 4 weeks and practice for 3 weeks.
i used about the same time for PM.January 13, 2020 at 12:16 pm #55835348% first sitting, 53% passed second sitting.
keep going you can do it.i can honestly tell you that my part C is the reason i passed, it was the first section i did and i ran out of time doing part A and Part B (majority was guessed tbh) Part C weights more and you can always get some marks even if your answers are not entirely correct unlike part A and B where its either you pass or fail the questions.
so i would say make sure youre prepared for section C. go through every topic that has the potential of coming up in part C and read the technical articles for them too.
i wasnt surprised with my 53% i knew it was going to be within these range given part A and B didnt go very well but at least its a pass

December 5, 2019 at 10:29 am #555054section A, was okay
section B – CVP,ABC and Rolling budget; though these questions were not bad, i just struggled with the computer, the screen was small, i spent 30mins probably maneuvering the screen for the whole exam, it really pissed me off
tbh we should be given a choice of paper based or computer, and if its mandatory we use a computer, the screen should be big enough to view the content of the questions at once, this really got me soo annoyed yesterday to the point i lost concentration and i couldnt get back in to my head. There is exam pressure already and i dont need anymore pressure from the computer. itsfrustrating
section C
i had relevant costing and transfer pricing, questions were not so bad - AuthorPosts
