CBEJuly 29, 2010 at 10:55 am #65404Are you self studying?
July 28, 2010 at 4:48 pm #65402But which topic???
July 21, 2010 at 7:00 am #65332Study from text book first and then practice exam like questions from exam kit.
For practice of CBE please visit
ACCA CBE DemoJuly 21, 2010 at 6:46 am #65362F4 is the easiest of them all. You can prepare it by yourself through self study. The remaining papers are numerical which are difficult to prepare by self study.
July 21, 2010 at 6:41 am #65367You can sit for paper base exam for F1-F3. But paper base exam are only held twice a year i.e June and December and CBE are held every month. Now its up to you whether you want to wait for 5 months or to give early.
July 3, 2010 at 7:53 am #65134There were some changes in F8 syllabus for June 2010 exams. It would be better if you get updated text book.
July 1, 2010 at 8:51 pm #64876You cannot sit for optionals without passing core papers i.e P1,P2,P3. The other option is to sit core along with options. So I suggest that u take P2 & P3 this attempt and then optionals in next attempt.
July 1, 2010 at 8:45 pm #64560Kaplan is concise and to the point making it easier for the student to prepare for exam. On the other hand I found BPP more detailed oriented which enhances your knowledge. So I prefer Kaplan for exam preparation.
June 30, 2010 at 2:33 pm #64899If you want to attempt 3 papers then go for F4,F5 & F7.
If you want to attempt 2 papers then go for F5 & F7.
I would not suggest taking F9 with F7 as its difficulty level is higher then F7 and F7 itself requires hard working and practice.
F5 is of mid level difficulty. Whereas F4 is all theoretical and easy to prepare.June 26, 2010 at 7:04 am #64897Please specify which papers are left to attempt.
June 24, 2010 at 8:30 pm #64867If u have not completed 3 years PER then you are called ACCA Affiliate. If you have have completed PER then you are ACCA Member.
June 24, 2010 at 8:28 pm #64863There is absolutely no similarity between F4 & F6.
May 23, 2010 at 9:31 pm #60831If you have thorough understanding of topics then you might not need kit. But if you get time it is advisable to go through some question if not all.
Good luck!!May 23, 2010 at 9:27 pm #60255ACCA’s web page was having problems. Dockets will be up soon I hope. If any of you haven’t received his/her docket by post yet please contact your regional ACCA office or ACCA UK.

I am at the point now where i do not think I can do this examJust relax and try to solve as much past papers as you can they will give you thorough understanding. If you can’t solve them in writing just read them carefully. First read the question then think what should be the answer. Then look at the answer and try to learn and mistakes that you made.
Hope this help you.May 12, 2010 at 9:44 pm #60321Well, the more easy is “ACCA COVER”
May 12, 2010 at 7:29 pm #60306If the purpose of the task is to check internal controls then apply Test of Control otherwise if the purpose is to gather evidence about the accuracy and true and fair view then use substantive procedures.

I DONT KNOW HOW TO LEARN THEM……… PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!The more you read the more stuff will remain in your mind for exams. Also listen to OpenTuition F4 audio lectures they help a lot in memorising. If possible find a quite and alone place in your home and read aloud with concentration.
May 1, 2010 at 6:22 pm #59845You cannot just fix materiality level it depends on the judgment of auditor and the level of risk he is facing.
May 1, 2010 at 6:16 pm #59832Just read Text book and exam kit as much you can. Remember “READ” not just “GO THROUGH”.

its possible to change these if i contact them ?I don’t think thats possible!
April 19, 2010 at 7:20 am #59372If you get more than 80% in F1-F2 either by CBE or PBE you get a certificate. If not, then you get certificate after completion of F module.
April 18, 2010 at 7:13 pm #59307If you paid through MyACCA for June2010 attempt then I’m afraid that you opted for manual papers because CBEs are conducted by colleges not directly by ACCA. So for CBE you pay directly to that corresponding college not ACCA. And CBEs only available for CAT papers T1-T4 and ACCA papers F1- F3.
