Does anyone know whether there’s an option to do F1, F2 and F3 as paper based exams? (as opposed to the computer based versions)

I am living in Xi’an in China and planning to take the exam from there – there is a test centre in Xi’an but not a CBE centre in Xi’an – the closest is in Chengdu which is 16 hours train ride away so not v. convenient.

You can sit for paper base exam for F1-F3. But paper base exam are only held twice a year i.e June and December and CBE are held every month. Now its up to you whether you want to wait for 5 months or to give early.

Pardon, what did you ask? Are you asking if CBE’s are better than the manual ones?

The questions are slightly different but at an equivalent level of difficulty IYKWIM.

Once you learn the material it’s not a difficult exam, I prepared in 2-3 weeks finished the CBE in 30mins and scored a preliminary mark of 84%.
