I sat APM and ATX im confident that ill pass APM(3rd attempt) but ATX might either be a borderline fail or pass. I wud be the happiest person if i pass both. Wudnt want anything else rn.

it asked for evaluation so i wrote the good and bad parts of erps can affect the business overall. wrote about how erps is not centrally managed therefore cud lead to misuse and duplication of information. but overall erps is an advantage to keep up with the competitors and how it wud now allow the slonyard(cant remember the name lol) company to overcome its existing problems relating to outdated systems. and gave a final conclusion. 3rd question was tricky but had time as i properly managed time this attempt. the whole paper was quite easy compared to my prevoius sitting. sat for it 2 times. 3rd time is a charm, will pass this time hopefully

its fine as long as you included points that relate to skills, style and the other ones at the most basic level including wat was given in the question and stating that they r not in line with each other and causes disharmony, ull be good

Overall the paper was easy, it wasnt very technical and knowledge dependent. I was able to connect the answer tothe question all along, which i think is most important in APM. Time management also wasnt an issue and i feel most of the people would find this in common. Question 3, specifically setting KPIs for diff stakeholder groups was tricky and a little thinking was required however as long as a proper justification is provided in relation to the KPI, marks would be given. And again in this attempt there was no question from Corporate failure despite acca mentioning that it would be tested in sedction B. My third and hopefully last attempt.

well u seem u prepared very well. my answers were almost the same to urs except the permanent establishment(i skipped that).
and that any no. of directors can be participators is right so yup.
i feel like time was an issue as with all acca papers, but a doable paper with very little technical questions and much more foucessed on the basic tax rules.

roll over relief was not available on the forklift as its not a fixed plant and machinery and over all there was no roll over relief available as the amount not reinvested were more than the gains.
And ACCA had to ask from the 2 topics i skipped-Perm establishment and consortium group. They many fail me this time. Im coming back for these marks in Dec. Floor gang.

I wrote about the ability to surrender losses. in both the cases the parent company wudnt be able to use the losses asit did not form part of the 75% group. And ya i felt the overall style was different too. There was 80% explanation to perform considering its ATX, thats odd, there shudve been more calculation as we wud still get follow up marks if we mess up somewhere.
And left close companies question and shat my pants when i saw there were 6 participators and we had to prove that it was a close company. Am now reading the rules and they r actually simple so fml.

messed up in evaluation of performance report as well half way thru the question i realised that the report is to be evaluated not the performance

Was there a specific format for the cost of quality report?

    @chintanshah1992 said:
It was good – time management was the key.

    Topics that come up:

Q1 Evaluate performance management report and KPI’s Changing role of the management accountant Data warehouse

    Q2 VBM EVA

    Q3 JIT TQM

Not a bad exam. Easy marks for EVA and cost of quality

I have 3 questions in specific.
In the EVA calculation do you subtract the reduction in allowance in NOPAT and add the value of allowance it was at the beginning year to capital? Also what EVA did u guys get
What exactly was to be written in VBM?
Why was there no question from corporate failure?

Overall the paper was lengthy but doable with a few challenging topics.
