The emphasis for Topic 2 is the new technology. Defining the technology and linking it with the organisation would be critical. I suppose RFID / ecommerce / web-based sales is one such example. The next part is linking it with organisation objectives – which indicates the use of value chain model / HSPM and or SWoT

In terms of Topic 9, you would focus on the planning and implementation side – looking at project management aspects for information system. It would not be too focused on the system (only briefly on the system)

Both the topics are based around ACCA P3 syllabus, so make sure you can pick up the items from there.

If you have adequate time, I suppose that is enough. Discipline is important. If you have more time, take one of the courses online – Kaplan is fine,

The papers that is shown is F1 – F9 unless you came under the FIA/CAT route, then it would be F4 – F9 + Your Thesis

Yes. That is agreed with – F8, F9 and P1 if you feel that you want to get it over quickly. On the other hand, if you want to make sure you get a good mark so that you get above 68 marks average for you ACCA F4 – F9 papers, then do 2 and focus all your energy on it.

F8 and P1 has significant overlaps, so one stone 2 birds

Get your accounting standards in P2 updated, since the examiner is a P2 lecturer. There is a high chance of complex P2 items entering into P7 that can blind most of the students.

Last submission was the transition period so may not count. The word count is the count shown by Word at the bottom. Obviously if you tried to put a picture in that is wordy – you will get penalized.

The price is that they will stop reading after the word count reaches 7,500 (upper limit)
