Hi,
Does anyone here know how long does administration team take to send you your pass letter with your class of degree once your appeal succeeds i.e. when you are passed by appeals officer decision?

OMG it seems my appeal succeeded coz I received an email basically saying they will remove fail grade from my RAP and it will take some time to update in the system.
Thanks a lot @gillianm I sent an email and got reply that my appeal has been forwarded to appeals officer. I listed out all the feedback points with my comments against each one. It seems my work wasn’t read carefully and in full because some of the things marker says I missed are actually clearly stated in the lines immediately following the examples quoted in the feedback.
Right now I am more worried about whether I should go ahead with re-submission in P39 since the deadline is approaching. Hope they refund me in case I resubmit and then my appeal succeeds. Fingers crossed.

I failed my first RAP attempt and my grade will now be locked at C. I am worried if this will affect my class of degree. I have average of 68 marks in applied skills papers and even though the page linked below says 68 average marks with a C means First class honors, a friend of mine is not so sure and got me worried. Does anyone here know if I will still get a first class? Thanks!!
I failed and am really shocked. Okay I wasn’t confident about an A but I definitely didn’t expect a fail. Even my senior who had read my report didn’t believe when I first told him of the result. Waiting to get the feedback :/
I received this email too.. that says they will start sending results from 23 Sep now. Hope they stick to it this time :/

It took me a couple of months … spent a few hours every Saturday and Sunday. Make sure you consult with a good mentor.
To answer your question: The earliest you may submit will be period 40.

Where does it say you can’t have any professional papers passed before submitting RAP?
Yeah same here mine 51 marks. I expected somewhere near 60. But thanks God it’s a pass 🙂
Yes agree with @olia8 on SBL … I have studied Kaplan <- highly recommended. I also got BPP version but didn’t like it.

OMG two books and three books? That is just unbelievable … How do you guys write? I can barely do two-thirds of the one book provided. This much is quite normal for me though, and I have passed earlier with that much writing. Really hope I pass this one too. It was my 2nd attempt. Failed the first one at 44 marks.
IMO they should now do advanced level on computers as well.
i would recommend reading textbook if you are self studying. a significant portion of the exam is theocratical. so reading thoroughly will help you understand stuff. then practice, practice ..
Government bonds are nearly risk free so you can’t simply take their market value as the market value of the company’s bonds. Even if bond life and all the cash flows on the two bonds are exactly the same, govt. bonds will have higher market value because of low risk.

The market value came out to be a bit over $300 million.
I believe it said 3 million bonds i.e. number of instruments. I might be wrong :p
