    hey guys,

can i know the meaning of critically assess in your mind?
For my understanding through the website, i knew that critically assess is weigh arguments for and against something, assessing all evidence. Decide which opinions, theories, models or items are preferable. So, measurement will be needed??hmm…

and the notional interest of capital, in the question 1, i get from bpp text book that it was WACC, so i think many of us is getting wrong, even by using the assumption, except the examiner ‘planned’ to give more people pass, thus they will give more sympathetic marks. (pray to the GOD!lol)

Any ideas for question 2 about the evaluate the performance measure? I just felt examiner is testing us about the understanding on the using of BSC. Thus the measurement method make me feel little bit weird. Will you use share price to evaluate your company financial perspectives? i think NOT,because it was depends on the markets and you are not controllable on it. So if you show it, it was not related to your company performance for the year, right?(As profit margin or ROCE is more likely that you can control on it.)
*Share price changes is based on supply and demand and only can say the company had attracted new investors.

Q3,building block. A) part is bonus, it just want us show out the detail of building block, it was purely like fundamental level style. So, they was testing do you study the models before coming to the exam.

And q4 is rush for me,because i put too many times on the transfer pricing to understand what they are talking about. it was really messy question if compare to the questions i did before.

Anyway, i just hope for a pass, no need flying colour! REALLY, pray hard for everyone. Then most of us can graduate and throw the books away permanently.

MASTER!! I hope i can come it in this year!

beckymo, i think mike not tutor, we are misunderstood!

risk committe should ber majority in ned and not at least one! and there are not any problem if there are ceo to be head of risk committee because there are majority in ned, and most of the decision will be made by voting, so if there are any problem or any info. is not disclose, there will be inform by other ned, either to the board or chairman.

In my opinion, this is extra responsible which is not only to shareholder.
Like the limited view, it is only about the donation,
equivalent view, it is likely to CSR, the four responsible of carroll is include,
and the extended view is the extra responsible of corporate, like remedies something to public. for example, the cigarette company will have some risk that is compensate to the smoker(in the previous case) then they are having extended view of corporate citizenship.

    That is my question!!

Because the text book do not state whether it is his/her child is obtainning the shares in the client company.

So if there are such question is coming out, can we assume that the child is obtained the shares in the client company?

For sustainability, there are 2 methods to measure the sustainablity of economic activity, quotients approach and subjective approach.

So what about ‘full cost and TBL accounting’? This two is used for??

I told you in this way, then can you understand it?

    Waiting for your reply. Thanks.

For directors, the removal should have certain specific reason to remove or dismiss such as legal right and responsibility, contract service, removal, disqualification, insider dealing, conflict of interest, and retirement by rotation.

They are also allow to remove in AGM or break any of the legal and regulatory framework without the majority approval of the member of the board.

hope it will help you, and please no hesitate to tell me if i have telling the wrong things.

    456852,

i’m received your opinion, but in the bpp’s exam kit, i saw there are 2 examples about to add on the past service cost to calculate the interest cost.

By the way, where are you come from?

    Hi,

When calculating interest cost of pv of obligation, do the past service cost have to be included?
    E.g.
    pv of oblig. $3,000
    past service cost $ 125
    interst cost
    (3,000+125=3,125*6%) $ 188
