Wow!! Congratulations. You must be the highest scorer!!!!
July 18, 2022 at 10:47 am #661074Passed the exam on my first attempt. Thank you, Sir John.
September 9, 2021 at 3:22 am #635002yes, I think the same. However, the solution for the abovementioned question, says this is an indicator of impairment. So, is there any chance of a mistake from their side?
This is Q46 from the BPP test kit.
Thank you
September 3, 2021 at 9:36 pm #634207Okay.
Thank you for the information.Btw, I am able to solve numerical questions correctly and with much more ease but I particularly struggle with answering theory-based questions.
Would you please advise me of some tips or points so that I am able to score well in the theory part of the exam as well?
Thanks again!
September 2, 2021 at 11:40 pm #634053okay, I understand now.
also, I overlooked that price discrimination is actually one of the correct answers. Sorry about that.
Regards 🙂
September 2, 2021 at 9:47 pm #634044Can a full-fledged 20 marks question be expected from this chapter?
September 1, 2021 at 8:16 pm #633874Yes,
I understand.Thank you 🙂
August 31, 2021 at 12:23 am #633576okay, so you’re saying that contribution would be 2.67 (8/3) for A and 3.4 (8.5/2.5) for B.
So, product B is the best.and shadow price would also be 3.4. that is fine.
but I don’t quite understand what do you mean by “You will then make 500 of the best one (because that is the most that can be sold) and use the rest of the 2,000 kg on the other one.
Why would we make only 500 units of the best one (i.e. Qutwo)? I mean it has an unlimited demand.
August 31, 2021 at 12:01 am #633575Ohh okay,
This was a silly question to ask. I am sorry. And yes, I am watching your lectures. They are great.
Thank you
August 27, 2021 at 12:05 pm #633125Sir,
I have seen your lectures on lifecycle costing.Perhaps I got confused because of the language of the questions.
I mean in the former question it says that life cycle costing can help in setting better pricesand the solution to the very next question has a line that says life cycle costing is not about setting selling prices, it is about linking total revenues to total costs.
But, I get it now.
Thanks.
August 27, 2021 at 11:53 am #633124No, there are no parts. This is a section A question.
Also, in the question that you explain in your lecture, we first calculate the target cost and then proceed further.
So, here in this question, is the information relating to the calculation of target cost not relevant?
I tried to solve this question as per the method followed by you.
what I did was to first calculate the target cost = 30.71
then, I calculated the life cycle cost without considering the additional $15000 amount on design = 18.65But since the life cycle cost is already less than the target cost, I guess we don’t need to take into account the additional $ 15000 for design.
Am I getting it right?
August 25, 2021 at 7:23 pm #632926okay, I get it.
Thanks.August 18, 2021 at 12:49 pm #631943I am also interested.
July 25, 2021 at 1:23 pm #629377Yes, I did contact them.
They apologized for the inconvenience caused and credited back my fees to my account and asked me to book for the next attempt. So, I had no other option except for waiting for Sept.
They further credited an amount equal to half of the exam fees as a goodwill gesture for exam disruption. And thank you for updating me about the status of the syllabus.
I will practice more and more questions now.Thanks.
