I passed first attempt my ACCA Corporate and Business Law – English (score 62%) yesterday evening at ECAM, Freetown Sierra Leone. Thanks to OpenTuition for providing free ACCA videos, notes and other related materials and my sincere thanks and appreciation to Mike Little.
I was able to pass the exam after going through your video lectures, lecture notes, practice questions, flash cards, technical articles and series of mock exams. This was coupled with Kaplan and BPP revision kits, ACCA technical articles, ACCA on-line CBE specimen exam, Examiner reports and past paper based exam questions from June 2011 – December 2014.
My opinion is that it takes practice to pass an exam and practice upon practice.
May God bless your institution for such a good venture.
Kind regards!
December 24, 2020 at 4:44 pm #600810I passed first time my ACCA Corporate and Business Law exam (score 62%) yesterday evening at ECAM, Freetown, Sierra Leone only with the help of OpenTuition and through self study.
I passed the exam using your video lectures, lectures notes, flash cards, practice questions and series of mock exams max. 10, together with Kaplan and BPP revision kits. Also, I used ACCA’s examiner reports, technical articles and past paper based exam questions from June 2011-December 2014.
I want to use this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the good work you are doing. Mike thanks so much for your wonderful lectures.
May God bless your institution.
Kind regards!
November 19, 2020 at 8:56 am #595554Thanks for your quick response. I truly appreciate. Like you mentioned in your reply that’s exactly my approach for the exam and even with revision. I am using both Kaplan and BPP revision kit to practice exam style questions.
December 17, 2019 at 11:24 am #556105Overall the paper was okay for me. Section A and B was a little bit straightforward with few complicated calculations. As for section C, the NPV question was okay with inflation, tax, capital allowances and working capital and then the merits of NPV and IRR. The other part of it was the cash budget which again was not that difficult but time consuming. I did nothing on the cash budget going for say 8-10 marks. The other areas of this question was all written on the objectives of working capital and the cash operating cycle. As a whole, I answered all the questions with the exception of the cash budget on question 32. I hope for a pass. Many Thanks to Opentuition and my able tutor Mr John Mofatt. Blessings
