Sooo happy. Thank you Open Tuition!!March 21, 2021 at 8:18 pm #614930Hi. Just wanted to give you a bit of motivation and hope. I’ve started ACCA when my daughter was 9 months old. It was hard and crazy 3 years since then (I also did the Oxford Brookes degree and had another child in the meantime).
I’m just awaiting results for my last exam.
Don’t lose your hope, it’s really hard, but possible.
Massive thank you to Open Tuition!!

December 17, 2019 at 9:04 pm #556154I have recently submitted my PER for ‘Tax computations and assessments as my experience in doing VAT returns.’
My supervisor (who’s chartered with ICAEW) questioned if experience in VAT is enough to fulfil the objective as he thought it was more personal/corporation tax related.
I have contacted ACCA and learnt that they don’t advise on the PER and it’s up to the supervisor to decide.
Am I wrong thinking that VAT is a tax and doing vat returns gives you experience is Tax computations and assessments??
Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.July 16, 2019 at 1:09 pm #523851Passed with 62%, first attempt.
