December 19, 2013 at 10:49 am #153192This topic will be soon closed and deleted. and I am posting this, only to let you all know why, so none is surprised..
OpenTuition does not have to advertise/promote other tuition providers.
Just like other providers would delete without a hesitation any post about opentuition. While we do believe in a free and open discussion, it surely applies to technical problems ACCA students have with their exams.. choosing a provider is not one of them..
if you do not understand why.. take this analogy..
If you go to someone else for a meal, you do not talk to the host, “oh, this is a free meal, but in the restaurant where I pay I can get this expensive dish..
To be honest, I think it is rude and offending the host! Our tutors go above and beyond here to do what they can in their free time (Premium time I might say!)
They could be teaching or earning PREMIUM cash elsewhere, yet they decided to spend their free time helping students free of charge..Just because you pay elsewhere, it does not make it premium!
What makes a service PREMIUM is who is teaching –
If opentuition lectures were done by other students.. then fine!
But they are not.
OT tutors have got many many years of past experience teaching for BPP/Kaplan and even LSBF in the UK..We have changed ACCA tuition landscape, and we want to carry on improving our service.. but posts like the ones above.. really makes us feel, like, we should not really bother!

then try past question from the revision kit on any given topic
Leave the study text – you have only 1 month for the exam! Use your older study text only for reference if you want more depth to the subject OR still do not understand the concept from the lectures/course notesApril 26, 2013 at 11:44 pm #123642I am not a magician I’m afraid
what lectures? what are you using to watch? pc? smartphone? etc..
some lectures do not have tutors on them and can be sometimes ‘blank’

April 19, 2013 at 7:07 pm #122932Most students watch lectures on line these days! and some chat in the chat room –
forums ‘layout’ have changed a bit – as it is separated from groups
maybe some students are not used to it..but indeed many topics were already answered already.. if you just use search, there is a lot info to go through..

April 19, 2013 at 8:34 am #122888April 18, 2013 at 9:47 pm #122832I am sure it is important
but given that you are already doing final exams.. surely, you can afford a ACCA books 🙂ps. it is also important to have a thriving community – so we can keep this site alive- and be able to do the updates for other materials.. but Mr Earnest .. you are not exactly helping other junior students much on the forums..
so tell me why it is important .. 🙂
We are doing what we can, are you? 🙂
