In ref to the question is option A the duty of the IASB as per chapter 1 the second bullet point that states “provide guidance on areas where no standards exists”
In example 1, The answer being option A. The duty of IFRSIC is, To provide guidance on FR issues “not specifically addressed in IFRSs” . So whose duty is it when the FR issues are specifically addressed in IFRSs?
If it is specifically addressed then it has been covered in the accounting standard itself, and will therefore have been dealt with by the IASB who have prepared the accounting standard.
Is this suitable for DEC2024 exam ?
