    Hello,
    question 4/4, Issue 1:
How come it is not a constructive obligation when they made a public announcement on their website to their environmental policy?
    Thank you!

Unless your questions are related to a lecture, they should be asked in the Ask ACCA Tutor forum!

The question says “…and Roberto Co has now published environmental policy on its website”

I shall ask Admin to correct the word “now” to read “no” …. thanks for bringing this to our attention

If the question had meant to read “now” it would have been clearer that Roberto Co had “… now published the details of its green environmental policy ….”

As it stands, Roberto could have published a non-green, non-eco-friendly policy

But the question needs to be clearer, agreed

Can someone please explain the solution for the question on Petalidi Co? I’m confused about how 78,000 was arrived at.

      Hi,

Because 72k is the provision you want it to be 2% of Revenue, but there’s already 150k sitting in the account so you need to credit the account 78k to get the provision down to 72k.

      Hope that helps!
