Cryptocurrencies selling fees treatment

I am wondering if I am right about calculating selling fees expense. I understand that when such fees are paid in crypto we have to calculate proceeds from the whole transaction first (add to the net fiat amount the amount of the fee as if sold because it is treated as spending crypto). Subsequently, we should subtract from it buying cost, buying fee and selling fee. Am I right ?
