please advice us Islamic financial product such as Sukiuk ,who can be recognized in the financial statement , does its recognize on fair value under IFRS13 and under which financial interment will be classified under financial asset or financial liability
Do you really mean Sukiuk? When I put that into google I find elderly women from Wales wanting to meet me!
Please check your spelling 🙂
I believe that the word is “Sukuk” and I confess that my knowledge of Islamic bonds is pretty close to non-existent 🙁
However, I did find a page on the internet that may help you
“Accounting for sukuk under IFRS and AAOIFI accounting standards”
Try that and let’s hope that it’s helpful
Would I be correct in saying that Islamic finance is not examinable in P2?
That seems to be a reasonable observation, Neil!
Phew! And thanks.
Yes, Phew!
l Know its not examine , but as knowledge can you help me which accounting standard apply ,
I can’t – I’m sorry! I have no idea 🙁
Put this into google and see if that helps …..
