sir please assist in coming with a decision whether to sit for P4 or P5.I didnot do F9 or F5.i did paper 2.4( Financial Mgt and Control) in the previous syllabus of whi ch i struggled with the cost and management sections.i sat for P4 twice in the previous sitting and p5 only once in the last sitting and failed at 25%.honestly am not confortable with P5 topics at all and i see p4 being very interesting but difficult although am working in corporate Treasury.Ia left with on one subject to complete.please advise

It really is impossible to advise properly, because everyone is different and is better at different things.

As you have already taken both P4 and P5, you are the best judge really of which one is best for you.

Although P5 follows on (in theory) from the costing/management parts of the old 2.4 exam, these days it is much more a written exam than a calculation exam. On the other hand, P4 is more calculations, which may suit you better, but as you will know it is tricky.

I am sorry that I cannot really be of any more help. Both exams are passable, but it obviously means a lot of studying and (even more importantly) a lot of practice on recent real exams.
