Hello
I have 2 questions I don’t understand how to answer.Q1 asks to analyse the dividend policy to date and if a change would be good? It has values of net profits, ordinary dividends and ordinary shares in issue with years 2008 to 2010.
Is this ratios?Q2 assess if directors have so far met their objective? Which is to aim for growth in equity value in stock market, and shows values of turnover, PAT, dividend share, P / E ratio and number of employees years 2001 to 2005
Is this ratio ?I hope this makes sense, I don’t want the answer I just want to understand the question and know what I have to do, I am getting frustrated and need your help before I go stir crazy
Thank you?

Dividend policy in general is dealt with on page 68 of our free lecture notes.
With regard to question 2, if the aim is to grow the value of the shares, then it is the market value of the shares that you need to look at. If the market value is not given in the question then you need to calculate it. Again this is covered in our free lecture notes and the free lectures that go with them
I do suggest that you watch our free lectures – the are a complete course covering everything you need to be able to pass Paper F9 well.
