I hoped that the video lectures were helpful in understanding F7 – that was certainly the intention. You need to be more particular about individual bits that you don’t understand. ( I have heard so many students say “I didn’t understand a single word” but when push came to shove, it was one small(ish) point that was throwing them )

    Get specific, and post again

Dear Mike little, I have been so away from ACCA exams for about 2years now due to marriage and a baby.
Now I have decided to get back to it, I am finding it difficult rembering how to get around calculating for : Statement of Financial position, Statement of profit and loss and other comprehensive income.

I have been studying BPP study texts for about a month now but still at loggerheads. It is very frustrating for me cos I really want to get past this struggling stage and understand it once and for all.

Pls help me out. Thank you

hi Chinnie – congratulations on the baby! Have you watched the videos and followed the course notes through whilst watching the videos?

Give it a try and then post again if you’re still lost in the dark!

Why not check out the F3 videos and update / refresh your knowledge of consolidations? That shouldn’t take too long and then you can get into your F7 studies.

    Hi Mike,

I have been revising for F7 but is seem so difficult, would you recommend past paper questions from now onwards?

I am really worried cause it seems like I cant do the question I keep forgetting what to do, I guess it is practise but I just keep stressing out alot..

    sorry!

No need to apologise – and you’re certainly not the only F7 student who is in the same mental state!

You’re correct of course – practice is the key.

I cannot think of a good reason why attacking past questions could be a bad way of getting prepared. It’s most likely to bring you the greatest benefit – only 7 weeks away from the exam
