    Dear Open tuition team,

I have seen UK GAAP Focus questions in Kaplan kit at the end.

I am a SBR (INT) student whether abovr will be applicable for me also?

    Regards

    Sajid

    Hi Sajid,

No, you will not be required to understand the rules for UK GAAP. You will only be examined on IFRS and IAS.

    Thanks

Hi there, if I sat the INT paper for SBR and changed my mind in future, is it possible to take an additional qualification or exam later on so that I can practice and become an audit partner in the Uk or is this my only chance? I’m just not sure now so was wondering if it’s something I can address later.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Yes, I’m sure there is an option to do this. It is likely that you would just be required to sit the UK variants in future.

I’d not worry about this too much, and I’d focus on how to pass the exam that you are registered for.

    Thanks
