Under Job analysis there are a few Types of Information Needed.Which Includes Purpose of job and Content of job. What is the difference between them?
Not a lot of difference.
Job purpose states the reason the position exists, its objective. So for an internal auditor it would say something like ensuring that the system of internal control is effective.
Job content generally includes duties, responsibilities and scope. So for an internal auditor it would contain details such as visiting parts of the business, testing internal control and writing reports on the findings.
