In future please open a new thread for each separate question.

    1. The third line of the question says that the standard time for each batch is 0.5 hours.

The question also says that the process became 20% slower, and so instead of taking 0.5 hours it was revised to 0.5 x 1.2 hours (which is the same as 0.5 + (20% x 0.5)

    2. The total profit of the retail division is (from the question) 419,246.
Product S is 319,456 of this total, which is 76% of the total.

The workings for 8.07 are shown in the answer to part (c)(i)

    3. The sales are 840,000. The profit when the design and development costs are taken into account is 20,000. 20,000 is 2.4% of 840,000.
