Dear Open Tuition, do you have any tips for F7 June 2012 exam? Last time they were quite spot on.

If they were spot on, that was ( almost ) pure luck! Beware, DO NOT RELY UPON TIPS!

However, all tuition establishments make their own best guesses as to which topics are likely to appear. OT’s will appear within the next couple of weeks, hopefully.

Meanwhile, I’ve got a bit of a sneaking feeling that in F7, there just could be a 25 mark consolidation question followed by a preparation of accounts question, also for 25 marks.

But after that, I get less confident. Nevertheless, what about a 25 mark cash flow question or even an interpretation question. There could even be a combined question – say 11 marks cash flow and 14 marks interpretation.

And now we’re really in dodgy ground. A 15 marker ( half written, half numbers ) on an IAS / IFRS followed be a 10 marker – again half written, half numbers on a different IAS / IFRS.

When pushed ( by Admin ) I’ll try to get a little bit more specific. Meanwhile, that’s the best I can give you.

    Hope it helps
