Sir, could you please explain me how to get the tax depreciation of Stitching machine for the year 20×9. (page 115- example 7).

Hi,
I think it is a mistake and the tax depreciation should be $8,125 (balancing allowance). If we’ve received proceeds of $9,500 and the tax written down value was $17,625, then the difference is allowable for tax.
I’ll update the notes to correct the error, thanks for spotting it, I think you’re the first one to have noticed it!
