Professor, can you please tell difference between two. These two are very similar.
A system audit examines a system (IT, quality control, maintenance, financial etc) to assess if it is well-designed to perform its required function).
A compliance test is a test to ensure employees are performing the procedures and checks that are stipulated in the system. You could have a well-designed system of financial control, but if employees do not perform their tasks properly then the system will not work correctly.
