Hello Mr Chris,
Thank you so much for your help with all the lectures. They’re very very useful.
Please I’m not sure how to study for “Current Issues” i.e. what is currently being discussed by IASB in their work plan which are relevant for the SBR exams.
I have tried to use the links you provided in the lecture note, but I don’t seem to know how to use 2 out of the 3 links…. for instance;(1) The ACCA CPD articles are highly useful to understand current issues in the world of corporate reporting (https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/member/cpd-landing/cpd-online.html)
The above took me to the ACCA global website, where I’m required to make some selections (I’m not sure what to select)
(2) Technical articles in the SBR section of the ACCA website (https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-supportresources/professional-exams-study-resources/strategic-business-reporting/technical-articles.html).
I found the above very useful, especially in understanding how to tackle questions
(3) The world of current issues is forever evolving as new standards are developed, in order to keep up to date with the current proposals of the IASB then their work plan set out the projects currently under development (https://www.ifrs.org/projects/work-plan/).
I’m not sure exactly the key areas to focus on here. I found a number of projects at different milestones, but I’m not sure of the ones relevant for the SBR (INT) exams. Please, I need your guidance.

Hi,
It is a challenge but you’re doing the right things, so keep up the hard work.
For the CPD articles you need to look up the CR ones and CPD articles.
The areas that are relevant are the ones identified in the syllabus guide on the website, as there is a lot going on at the IASB and you don’t need to know it all for the exam.
