Hi there Sir
I was thinking that in a question where a company with a succesfull past history is now facing competition for an overseas cheaper supplier
could it be a possibility that without suggesting that company to focus on a small niche in the market instead it could buy into that overseas supplier through selling manufacturing facility or use of Retained earnings?July 27, 2021 at 9:34 am #629555The old company will be feeling under threat because the new global competitor will be winning market share….and the new company will realise that. The old company will probably be in a weak negotiating position.
August 3, 2021 at 3:18 pm #630277The topic on software on section e kaplan book is large
But it has no mention in the syllabusAugust 3, 2021 at 4:53 pm #630288I am not familiar with the Kaplan text. It worries me that you say it’s very large. There is a danger with large texts that you spend too long reading them and not enough time on question practice.
SBL is not primarily a knowledge exam, it is an application exam where you have to solve a company’s problems. Question practice is key.
I suggest you try our notes and lectures first, only referring to the Kaplan text if you need more information.
