Sir, if parent pays dividend then do we deduct the full value of dividend from Investing activities or do we only deduct the NCI portion only?

    Dividend paid:

    By parent – full amount
By subsidiary – NCI proportion only

We are trying to measure how much money is paid to individuals OUTSIDE the group

Q.Cashflow from investing activities included cash inflows relating to the disposal of cars ($30m),

answer: this has been added in the operating cashflows ..

My question is why didn’t we deduct it in cashflow from operation, as it a disposal proceed?

An inflow of cash. We always ADD inflows. I’m not sure if you are confusing this with ‘profit on sale’.

At this stage you should not be reading standards. Just practice questions set from 2017 onwards.
