Why are shareholders not stakeholders in a charity
Also why are taxpayers stakeholders in a charity
Hi,
A charity is not a company and therefore there are not any shareholders, hence not stakeholders either.
Although charities will not pay tax on the excess fund they earn over the expenses incurred there would still be tax paid on employee salaries and hence the taxpayers will be stakeholders.
Thanks
who are the investors in a charity
