    Hi Sir,

I’ve managed my RR to 7415 words. Is this a safe range since the tables and charts have not been counted in.
How do they account for the wordings in tables and charts? Rough gauge?

Also, do we need to indicate breakdown of word count by the respective sections? Or the total at cover pg will suffice?

    Thank you.

    Dear Hammad,

If i used many times (36 times) a single source (annual report) would it create any issue….? I have used approx 110 references in my whole report…. I have heard from someone examiner could fail on this issue and examiner used to do this in past…. Plz guide me i am very confused…

Secondly i used all graphs as “picture paste” so it is not creating any word count…may i need to replace pictures with “graphical word format”….???

    Thank you….

    Dear sir Hammad
In part 2 if the word count is 1500 is it enough?
And when i write the word count on title page do i include an estimate for the graphs n tables as well?

    Thanks

    @hasanali95

You write the total words written beneath the pages.

Words for Part 3 – Minimum are 4,000

    Part 2 – 2,000

    Part 1 – 1,000

    but i recommend part 1 and 2 between 2,500 to 2,700.

    Thank You.

    @cheeta0123

It will not create any issue, but i will recommend use external references as much as possible and not to rely too much on annual report as you have already taken financial statements from there.

Pasting as picture is not an issue but in excel you should show how you made graph through excel to demonstrate IT skills.

    Thank You.

Do not include graphs and i will recommend to increase it to 1750 or 1800.

    Thank You.

You can write definitions also. Write also about approach but your analysis must be over 4000. and 1st and 2nd part over 2500.

    Thank You.

    Dear Hamad,

1.) I don’t quite get you on this:
“Pasting as picture is not an issue but in excel you should show how you made graph through excel to demonstrate IT skills.” Does this mean we need to submit our excel working file as well?

2.) Also, on the differing year end to mention under limitation on info gathering… should we place this under acct/biz techniques used & limitations instead as this relates to bench-marking?

3.) Our analysis on the ratios are very much referenced against the annual report or other management report, so I have placed quite a number of such references after each year’s ratio analysis. Is this right? Further, those information are facts which we need to use.

4.) About the presentation slides, will we be penalized for inserting speaker notes for referencing during the presentation?

5.) My last meeting with mentor for presentation is 18th Nov (due to availability and it’s to be virtual).
Will OBU reckon this as inefficient and raise an issue?

6.) The 20th submission deadline, is it based on UK’s time? What information do we need to obtain from our mentor along with our RAP submission?

Thank you. Sorry for the long list.

    Dear Hamad,

Do we need to separate reference list & appendices from RR or there’s no issue for all under 1 RR doc.?
Also, for SLS, if we have made references and bibliography, is it alright to follow the same as RR, i.e. all in 1?

Just logged in to submission portal and noticed they have listed submission of files by the respective:-
    1. RR
    2. SLS
    3. Reference
    4. Presentation
    5. Appendices

    Thanks.

    Dear Hammad,

I simply made all graphs in excel, then paste as picture in my word doc….

i dont have any back up of that excel sheet, i deleted it ….then what can i do..? it is not acceptable only picture graph..?

the reason for pasting as picture is that, normal graphical chart in word, out their formatting themselves while open and closing document….

    Thank you….

    @Dawn

    1. That means you need to atleast show either on word or excel how you made graphs.

    2. You can place it either part 2 or 3.

    3. Thats right but not using external references and relying solely on annual report will lead to risk of failure.

    4. No you don’t but long text in presentation is prohibited.

    5. No.

    6. Email and name.

    Thank You.

Use on referencing list separate from report and SLS. Use separate appendices also.

    Thank You.
