Dear Tutor,
I am sitting FR on Thursday and then I am planning to prepare for SBR for December sitting.
What happens if I don’t pass FR? Can I still sit SBR? Should I sit SBR?
When exam results come out, I will be already done with the SBR tuition phase and at the same time it will be too late to start studying towards any other professional level exam. So even if I am ALLOWED to sit SBR before passing FR, should I do it? Is there a chance of passing SBR in that case?
Of course, before I find out the FR results, I could do another course, for example ATX or SBL. But, I read, that it’s best to take SBR straight after FR. Is that right?
In addition to ATX, my other options paper will be AAA which has to be taken after SBR.
Please advise because I am panicking. (Maybe it’s just Thursday’s exam panic more than anything 🙁 )
September 4, 2018 at 8:59 pm #471441Hi,
I’d focus on the exam you have on Thursday and give that your full attention.
Once you’ve done that then you can start with SBR if you feel that the FR exam has gone well. Even if you then fail it, hopefully not, then the work done on SBR will actually aid you with your FR knowledge for when you retake it in December.
If you pass FR then you’ve nothing to worry about as you’ll then be ready for the SBR exam in December.
Whatever you do just make sure you take a short break from the studying and exams before you start up again.
Good luck with the exam this week.
