    @sheikhsanashahab

    You cannot compare the group price with a standalone company unless you have separate share price for company.

    Listing is not mandatory, they might be because of heavy laws and regulations and recent strict compliance burden with Code of Corporate Governance (UK) and Sarbanes Oxley Act (USA). Further, there are also separate implications for tax purpose on listed and unlisted company. Securities and exchange commission and stock exchanges regulates listed company heavily, so they may not want to get in to the detailed documentations etc. Also, they may not need public and equity finance and don’t want to dilute their ownership structure.

    Thank You.

    @sheikhsanashahab

    I was telling that you can not compare share price of a division unless it is listed. Al tough you can calculate its EPS.

    Thank you.

    @sheikhsanashahab

    You can not derive share price of Division from secondary data. Please do not focus on it.

    Thank You.

    You are not just select relevant ratios and models based on info availability.

    Thank You.
