when we say issued capital do we mean shares that have been sold to shareholder?
when they say called up capital do they mean that the same share that they issued need a top up?for example 100 000 shares issued for $1 each.when they are called up at 75 cents dose that mean investors have to pay a value 75 cents more per share that they bought for a $1
If they are $1 shares and $0.75 has been called up, it means that they have only paid $0.75 and that they will have to pay the other $0.25 later.
(However this is not really very important for the current Paper F3 exam)
