    Hi,

I will be taking FR in the June sitting and wondered if there was any way I can tell which areas are most commonly tested in Section C? I have been spending a lot of time studying cash flows but have been told that they don’t come up very often and that I should revise ratios instead. Or should I have a good understanding of every possible outcome?

I am just conscious of the fact that the exam is now in less than 3 weeks and feel like I should be focusing more on specific subjects.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Cash flows are examined a fair it in FA, so I wouldn’t spend too much time on this area. Ratio analysis is a crucial area and you need to spend some good quality time revising this prior to the exam.

On top of this you need to be prepared for individual accounts and group accounts preparation, or extracts from the group accounts.

    Thanks
