Hi Sir
I would like to ask few questions here. I am planning to take SBR in dec 18
1)What are the major changes between P2 and SBR?
2) For the revision videos here and past year papers, is it still relevant from sept 18 onwards? Do I need to get revision kit for SBR?
Or
Should I wait few sittings so I can get latests exams questions from ACCA?Thank you in advance :))
April 30, 2018 at 9:04 pm #449544Hi,
You’re the first person to ask about the switch from P2 to SBR.
With regards to the changes then it is all about the exam as opposed to the syllabus, which stays roughly the same. The change in the exam is in the first question, where previously students had to prepare a set of group account, but instead now extracts from the accounts will have to be prepared and explained. I’d recommend that you look at the specimen paper on the ACCA website to see the difference in the first question.
Any revision videos, past exam questions on the first question will now no longer match the style of the first question in the SBR exam, so you will need to get a revision kit as these will have the updated questions for SBR.
If there is anything else that you need then just shout.
Thanks

Yes, we will be. I’ve updated the notes and now all I need to do is update the videos.
They’ll be ready for once the June exams are finished.
Thanks
