I am curious whether or not the revenue covered in lectures is enough, because there are a lot more things in the Kaplan Book regarding Contract Costs, Repurchase Agreements, etc.

If you feel that you need more details then by all means use the study texts. You should find that the underlying principles are used are still the same.
