Why is it that the subsidiary’s revaluation gain on PPE was not divided by the number of months in the consolidated SPLOCI yet the subsidiary was acquired six months into the financial year?( Example 4 of open tuition notes)

Hi,
A revaluation arises at a point in time, and does not accrue over the reporting period like sales and expenses. We therefore do not pro-rate it.
